2022 Board of Directors Candidates

Below are the Candidates for the Board of Directors of the PMI Wichita Chapter.

Candidate for President - Warren Glore, PMP

I was born in Belleville, Illinois, a small suburb of East Saint Louis. My mother and father were both in the US Air Force stationed at Scott Air Force Base. I traveled all over the world with my parents as I was growing up and remember such things as boat trips up the Rein river in Germany, touring ancient castles, visiting the dikes and windmills in Holland, having the snow up to the bottom of my second story bedroom window in the front yard and no snow at all in the back yard in Michigan and the time that it literally rained down fish during a thunderstorm (no kidding) as well as many other great adventures before reaching ten years old. At the age of 10, my dad retired from the Air Force and we settled outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where I graduated from Parkland Sr. High in 1977.

Since I loved to travel as a kid, I joined the Air Force myself immediately after graduation. I have been stationed at such places as McConnell AFB Wichita, Kansas, Keesler AFB Biloxi, Mississippi, Tinker AFB Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Soto Cano AB, Honduras, Comiso AB, Sicily, Altus AFB, Altus, Oklahoma, NATO Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, NATO, Naples, Italy, and Hill AFB, Odgen, Utah. I have held jobs such as a Titan II launch crew member, Ground Radio repair man, Air Traffic Control Tower maintenance, combat communications team member, base land-mobile radio manager, base communications security officer and a regional (4 state-wide) radio frequency manager. I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science while stationed in Naples, Italy with the University of Maryland – European division. After my retirement from the military in September 1999, I went to work for LSI Corporation. My first job was working on a Web-Based Graphical User Interface using the TCL programming language. After the big .com failures of 2001 and my company’s re-organization, I was moved to our Product Test division where I was a senior test engineer for our manufactured RAID disk arrays and our Java-based software used to management them. While at LSI and Netapp, I went back to UMUC to earn a Master's of Science of Information Technology in Project Management degree followed by an MBA. Shortly after graduating with my Science of Information Technology in Project Management degree I earned my PMP certification. Upon leaving Netapp, I worked for two years at Flint Hills Resources, 2 years at AGVantis and currently 6 ½ years at Wichita State University. During all the above, I have served as PMI Vice President of Finance for 6 years and was appointed and served as the President Elect for 2021.

Candidate for Vice President of Communications - Liviu Bogdan, PMP

Liviu

Liviu Bogdan, PMP, is an American by choice, Romanian by birth, who helps the Wichita PMI Chapter as a Marketing Director. With 10 years of military experience and service with various non-governmental organizations on four continents, he is determined to make a positive impact wherever he goes.

He is currently stationed at McConnell Air Force Base and manages the GeoBase and Site Development team (computer-aided design, mapping, surveying, and construction management actions). His goal with PMI Wichita is to bring value to members and grow the chapter into a network that any project manager will want to be a part of. 

Candidate for Vice President of Membership - Timothy McCloud, Jr., PMP

 Timothy McCloud Jr, PMP

Tim McCloud is in his first year as a member of the Wichita Chapter. He has been involved with PMI since 2017 through the Midlands chapter in South Carolina. He served as the VP of Membership and VP of Administration during that time. He has also served more than 20 years in the US Military. 

Candidate for Vice President of Finance - Ashfaque A. Mohib, PMP

Ashfaque Mohib

Ashfaque A. Mohib, PMP® is currently a fulltime PhD student and researcher at Industrial Systems and Manufacturing Engineering, Wichita State University.  He has earned two master’s degree from WSU, and professional credentials in project management from PMI and supply chain management from ISCEA. He has 20+ years of combined experience in both Corporate and Academic environments. He executed his responsibility as software engineer (Learjet), PMO (Robi), and faculty member (AIUB). He has attended many conferences and published several papers.

His professional affiliation includes being a regular member, board member and volunteer for several professional organizations, such as PMI, ASCM, CILT. He contributed his time, knowledge and leadership as Director of Finance and Audit for PMI Bangladesh Chapter, one of most dynamic PMI chapter for two years. He has handled large volume of transactions, especially during Symposium, maintained regular financial and audit reporting, and ensured necessary financial governance.

A. A. Mohib’s  goal, at PMI Wichita Chapter, is to perform the prescribed duties of VP Finance diligently, while focusing on bringing sustainable growth and benefits to the chapter and its valuable members.
