Traci Chambers

Traci is currently a project manager for Koch Business Solutions in Wichita, Kansas.  She manages projects for the Financial Services team ranging from technology to process improvement.  Her career at Koch has spanned 27 years, serving in a variety of roles including human resources, risk management, corporate insurance, operations, and project management.

Traci graduated from Wichita State University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing.  She received her PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2013.  She continues to earn continuing education credits on an annual basis as part of her certification.

As a member of PMI since 2011, she has volunteered on committees and is currently the VP of Membership on the Board of Directors.  Responsibilities have included increasing and retaining members, putting a new logo in place for the Wichita chapter, marketing the education programs, and assisting with various events and planning.

Traci has three children and one grandson.  Her husband works for Spirit Aerosystems and they have been married 28 years.  Her hobbies include watching her children in any activity, reading, watching movies, hiking, and spending time with family.

Responsibilities and Services

The VP of Membership is responsible for addressing the needs of the chapter membership, including service delivery, recruiting, and retaining members in accordance with chapter policies and bylaws.

Here are some of the services we deliver:

  • Active membership plan - includes partnering with other Chapter Board members to identify potential membership opportunities, and provide membership and PMI information to prospective members
  • Chapter marketing plan -  promotes the value of PMI and chapter membership, including community outreach and development of sponsor relationships
  • Recognize member milestones
  • Member retention program
