HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PDUs TO PMI
To submit your PDU information using CCRS (Continuing Certification Requirements System) for monthly meeting attendance you will need to have the following information ready:
- Date of the event
- Name of the event
- Number of PDUs & the Talent Triangle assignment (usually 1 PDU for a meeting unless specifically directed otherwise)
- Component ID (C125)
Just follow these directions:
At http://www.pmi.org/, log in.
On the left under Certification Status, choose "View PDUs".
On the left, choose "Report professional development units (PDUs)"
Step 1 - Select PDU Category (Select Category A: Registered Education Provider/PMI Component)
Step 2 - Select Activity Type (Select Report a Component 1-2 PDU Event). Note option at bottom of page to print PDU Category Limits in case you have any questions about that. Click on Next.
Step 3 - Component search criteria. Enter either the Component ID (C125) or the Component Name (PMI Wichita, Kansas Chapter). Either must be entered exactly to match. Click on Search.
Step 4 - Search Results. Our Wichita Chapter (C125) should come up in the results. Select it.
Step 5 - Component Activity Information. The Activity Date and the Activity Title ("Chapter Meeting" along with the title of the program) must be entered. The other fields are optional. Click on Next.
Step 6 - PDU Quantities. Enter the number you are claiming. One PDU per meeting unless specifically noted at the meeting. Each meeting handout will list the percentage allotted to the Talent Triangle portions i.e. .25 Technical .25 Leadership .50 Strategic. Be sure to keep your paperwork (notes or handouts) from the meeting to prove your attendance if audited. Click on Next.
