Speaker Biography
Vicky Cleary, PMP is an active PMO manager with more than 18 years of experience. She is also the founder of her own coaching practice, UPLIFT Healthy Lifestyle, LLC. She bridges project management and sustainable healthy habits to help you show up and be more effective in your business and your life. Vicky was recently voted in as President-Elect of the PMI Wichita chapter board of directors, and will step into the role as President for 2025-2026.
Vicky is part of the Wichita Business Journal’s 2023 class of “Women in Business” and also their 2023 class of “Career Women.”
Vicky didn’t intend to become a project manager. She graduated from Wichita State University’s Elliott School of Communication in order to go into advertising. Early in her career she was presented with a project management opportunity that lined up with her strengths of leadership, communication and organization. She jumped in with both feet and got certified as a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2012.
Vicky is also naturally entrepreneurial and, after having her own experience with burnout and learning tools to get out of (and prevent) burnout, decided it was important to share these tools with other like-minded professionals and started her business and became a coach.
