2026 PMI Wichita Chapter Board of Directors Election
Election Timeline
- Nominations open now and close on November 3, 2025.
- Voting will be open through December 1, 2025.
- Election results will be announced on December 15, 2025.
- Onboarding for new board members begins in late December 2025.
- New board terms begin on January 1, 2026.
Board Commitment
Candidates must reside within the PMI Wichita Chapter coverage area and be able to attend meetings either virtually or in person. By accepting a nomination, candidates commit to volunteering their time as a member of the Board of Directors.
Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM virtually. In addition, committee meetings take place at least once per month. Each position has specific requirements outlined in its position description.

Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted for yourself or for another qualified candidate. To nominate, please provide the following information:

Please do not submit resumes or additional attachments.
Example of a nomination statement:
“Jimmy John recently served as the Director of Marketing. They have shown great initiative and enthusiasm for promoting the PMI chapter. Some of their successes include x, y, z. Their experience includes project management at Sea World, where they helped dolphins learn how to steal fish snacks from seagulls. In this position, they hope to recruit dolphins to the chapter as they are remarkably intelligent creatures.”
To complete the nomination process, a board member will reach out to the nominees to collect headshots for the ballot and social media.
