PMI spent three years studying what makes projects successful. The result is the 2026 M.O.R.E. Playbook, a collection of 40 validated practices designed to help project professionals move from understanding what drives success to consistently putting it into practice.

In this virtual Lunch & Learn, PMI Wichita will explore how the research has evolved from defining project success, to proving the impact of M.O.R.E., to identifying specific actions project professionals can apply in their daily work.

The session will cover:

• The three-year evolution of PMI’s Project Success research
• The foundations of vision, value, and measurement
• How Manage Perceptions can strengthen stakeholder understanding of project value
• How Own Success shifts the focus from project completion to value realization
• How Relentlessly Reassess helps teams respond to changing information, risks, opportunities, and technology
• How Expand Perspectives connects projects to broader organizational and societal outcomes
• Examples of practices from the M.O.R.E. Playbook, including the use of AI, benefits tracking, stakeholder conversations, and cross-functional learning
• Resources to help you assess your current approach and build your M.O.R.E. capabilities

You will leave with practical ideas, access to PMI’s supporting resources, and a clear call to choose one practice to apply on your next project.
