PMI's research is clear: project professionals who fully adopt M.O.R.E. see their Net Project Success Score more than triple. Yet only 7% currently apply all four elements consistently. If the practices work this well, what's actually standing in the way of doing them?
In this virtual Lunch & Learn, Vicky Cleary, PMP, offers her own perspective on that gap: not a deeper look at the M.O.R.E. framework itself, but a look at what it actually takes to sustain it. Her argument is that M.O.R.E. can't simply be layered onto a full plate. It requires the internal capacity to hold it, and that capacity comes from more than PM skills alone.
We will explore:
- Why doing M.O.R.E. is, in a real sense, doing more, and what that means for project professionals already managing significant pressure
- A more complete picture of what builds the capacity to sustain new practices
- The difference between knowing a practice matters and having the capacity to apply it consistently, under pressure, on a full plate
- A practical tool you can use immediately to build the capacity to take on a new practice without it costing you everything else
You will leave with a clearer picture of what actually supports consistent M.O.R.E. practice, and a concrete first step for building that capacity starting now.
This session offers a complementary perspective to the M.O.R.E. research introduced in the previous sessions in this series; attendance at prior sessions is not required.
This virtual event is open to PMI members and non-members, both locally and beyond.
