Join PMI Wichita for a morning of volunteering at Woofstock 2026, the Kansas Humane Society’s largest annual fundraiser, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!
Woofstock brings hundreds of people and their dogs together for a day of activities while raising critical support for the Kansas Humane Society. An event of this size takes a community effort, with 300–500 volunteers needed to help make the day a success.
PMI Wichita is excited to bring our project management community together to be part of that effort!
What Will We Be Doing?
Kansas Humane Society will place volunteers where support is most needed. PMI Wichita volunteers may assist with:
- Activity Support – Ruff Races, Lure Course, Tie-Dye Station, Kid Zone, and more
- Admissions – Ticket sales and QR code check-in
- Parking & Attendee Direction
- General Event Operations
Final assignments will be coordinated by the Kansas Humane Society Volunteer Coordinator.
Whether you’re helping guests find their way, supporting an activity, or keeping event operations moving, every volunteer plays a role in creating a successful Woofstock experience.
And yes -- you’ll get to spend the morning surrounded by hundreds of dogs!

Register with the Kansas Humane Society by September 26
You must create a Woofstock volunteer profile and complete the Kansas Humane Society volunteer application.
This registration is required so the Kansas Humane Society can collect your waiver, T-shirt size, emergency contact information, and other required details — and, importantly, place you in your assigned volunteer area before the event.

Please complete the KHS application by September 26. Their final deadline is September 29, but completing it by September 26 gives the Volunteer Coordinator adequate time to ensure everyone is registered and properly placed.
What’s Included?
Kansas Humane Society will provide volunteers with an event T-shirt and lunch.
